Horse Stables
Though we often see horses running free in their paddocks there are times when they are stabbled. The most common time is for grooming or if the horse is ill. Keeping a horse in a stable for extended periods without being taken out for excersise would prove very harmful.
Stables Can Be Important.
Unfortuneatly horses like other animals do become sick. The best way to help the horse could be to stable it until the Vet has looked it over or until the vet gives the okay for the horse
to return to it's paddock. While the horse is confined to a stable it is much easier to check it out and keep a close eye on it until it gets better.
Problems With Stables.
Some of the problems with stables is they are prone to vermin infestations therefore require regular cleaning and up keep. If the stable is ignored and allowed
to be accessable to your horse it could easily cause an illness in your horse. Diseases could be picked up in an un-healthy stable. Plenty of clean hay should be available with regular removal and always plenty of fresh water for your horse.
Because stables are enclosed they could be a fine place for keeping tack for your horse. You should also check no extrussions or nails are able to be contacted by your horse or otherwise the could pierce the skin and cause infections.
