I think it is only fair to the parrot and you that you think long and hard about having a parrot in your household, as I have said before I love all parrots big and small I have had other pets and will probably have them again in the future but if I do I will make sure that the introduced pet will compliment my friend the parrot.
So on that basis when you decide to get a parrot think of all the requirments and adjustments your household will have to make and may need for your new pet.Because Parrots come in sizes from the iconic red, blue and yellow macaw to small parakeets. The most exciting part of buying a Parrot is When you bring a parrot home and introduce it to your family.Obviously you have thought long about the impact that the Parrot will have on your lifestyle. So some adjustments have to be made on both sides of the relationship. Parrots bred for pets are usually socialized by the breeders until sold to the permanent owner or to a pet store.

I have thought quite alot about this topic, parrot breeds, and have come to the conclusion that there are so many breeds to pick from that it would be almost impossible to name just one parrot as the most popular breed of Parrot. So I have decided not too. In fact all parrots are popular, it really depends on what you want the bird for and for who, if it is to be a one on one pet, then there are specific parrots ideal for that, if you are thinking about getting one for a child then there are parrots ideal for children a teenager may want a parrot with a different nature and there are plenty of those around. But if like myself, you want a bird to be a member of your loving family well there are plenty of parrots just right for you and as this text says don't overlook the little ones they can and are just as charming.
The term “parrot” includes many birds and several general breeds from the large macaws and cockatoos to the small parakeets and budgies. While parrots are known for their bright colors, some parrot breeds are all white or mostly grey. Many of the larger parrot breeds live for a long time – some from 50 to 80 years. more:
